Strobe Lights for Police
Firstly I would like to introduce Police Strobe lights and Strobe lights, they have many uses including Police cars Police bikes and are also used on other instruments used by Police where they are used to give an illusion of slow motion the other great use is that of the Police Helicopter anti-collision lighting usually seen on roof tops and tall towers. Other applications are in alarm systems, most notably to simulate lightning and giving it a special effect, and as high-visibility running lights. They are still widely used in law enforcement and other emergency vehicles for better visibility from long ranges, though they are slowly being replaced by new lighting technology in this application, as they themselves largely replaced halogen lighting. Police Strobe lights are used by officers in search and rescue operations in emergency situation. Police lighting has also been used to suppress the people when they see the lights coming at them. Special calibrated Police Strobe lights, capable of flashing up to hundreds of times per second, are used by police to count car pass by and other motions of rotating and other repetitively-operating procedures and to measure the rotation speeds or cycle times. Police Strobe lights are often used in night time, and are made especially for them as they are illegal to be used by ordinary citizens.

What does it mean when a helicopter has a red light on at night and is searching in a certain area? ?
It s like 12 and a helicopter was in my neighborhood with a red light and was searching in that area for like 20 mins is something wrong
I assume you mean a red light that resembled a search light and not the normal small red light on the aircraft’s left (port) side.
Some areas use a cross between a regular searchlight and an infrared light for their aircraft. The light is suppose to be less disturbing to people on the ground while giving a better view of the area for the observers. The light might look reddish from some angles. (Though I have never actually seen one in operation so i am not sure what color the light would appear to be) But I suspect that is what you were seeing.
As for was something wrong. If there were not a lot of police cars on the ground in the same area, it was probably nothing major.
They could have been simply doing night search training for a new pilot or observer.
So I wouldn’t worry to much about it.

The Source Of True Power In The Martial Arts Discovered!
verybody wants to have the power of Iron Man! They want to be strong, able to jump into combat and toss around an attacker like a rag doll. The problem is that nobody seems to know what true power is.
Everybody confuses the idea of power with the size of their muscles, or strength, or other things. But power has nothing to do with strength or muscles. The actual truth is that Power has to do with stabilizing the motor that is your body.
A motor is two poles between which there is tension. Whether it is a pull or a push, the tension between two terminals creates a motor. Push on another body and you have a motor, love somebody and you have a motor, play a game with somebody and you have a motor, and so on from the smallest to the largest objects in this universe.
In the world of physics as we know it on this planet, a motor, unless held in place, will move as result of the forces it is creating and using. A car motor has motor mounts, brackets, which hold the machine in place, lest it flip over and fall on the ground. A helicopter has a tail rotor to hold it in place and stop it from spinning around.
In the world of the martial arts one must hold oneself in place to withstand an attack, or to launch an attack. That is the purposes of stances, incidentally, not to make big muscular legs, but to hold the body in place, or to launch it. Once one learns how to use stances in this manner one is able to create and use energy quickly and easily.
Now boxing, or the mixed martial arts type of punching people, does not use stances, and they waste energy, and do not build it. Thus, they must rely on the strength of individual motors such as biceps and quads and so on, which provide tension across the bones and enable the skeletal structure to move. At this point, unless there happens to be a unique collision, the only power provided is due to the weight of the arm, but when you hold the whole body in place you use the weight of the whole body, and this is efficiency.
The point here is that you must use a stance if you wish to enable the body to create true power, and this means you must sink your weight with the execution of technique. Whether you punch, or block, or do any basic motion, you must learn how to sink the weight when doing so. This will lock the motor of the body down, and actually cause the energy generator of the body to function far more efficiently, and to create usable energy in vast amounts.
I know everybody wants to knock people over and win money, but MMA fighting doesn’t create energy, it only wastes bodies. Thus, a practice of Karate, or Shaolin, or especially the wudan arts, results in far greater amounts of power, and with no risk of damage to the body. No offense to the big muscle boys, but we are talking about the source of power here, the kind of power that endures long and does lead the student of classical arts, such as karate or shaolin or wudan, to higher levels.

i am doing an art project and it involves the combination of three different things: a plant, an animal and a vehicle. I have decided to combine a whale, a palm tree and a helicopter. i need to come up with a good name for it: so far, I have come up with : Palm-tailed whale, but i think that it is very bland. One of New Zealand’s finest Pioneering Lady pilots. Born Jane Gardner Batten on 15th, September 1909 at Rotorua, New Zealand. She was more commonly known as Jean. Her first introduction to flying was in 1929 when the famous Charles Kingsford-Smith took her for a flight in his plane ‘THE SOUTHERN CROSS’. Kingsford-Smith was an Australian pilot who, in 1928, made the first trans-pacific flight from America to Australia.
Jean Batten had only one ambition after her first flight and that was to become a pilot. Her father did not approve but in 1930 she persuaded her mother to accompany her to England. They travelled to London where she joined the famous London Aero Club in Stag Lane. Learning to fly did not come easily and she needed all her strong will to make her first solo flight in 1930.In one incident she crashed having overshot the runway and hit a fence while flying solo.
Her confidence suffered but she persisted in her desire to become a pilot and obtained her Commercial Licence in 1932. Almost immediately she began to plan a flight from England to Australia. After two failed attempts, due more to the limitations of her second hand plane than her ability, her third attempt, in May 1934, was successful. She broke Amy Johnson’s record by four days. In 1935 she flew Australia to England to become the first woman pilot to do the round trip. In England she purchased a Percival Vega Gull and then flew from England to Brazil beating James Mollison’s record and becoming the first woman pilot to fly England to South America. On this flight she broke the world record for any type of plane covering the 5000 miles in 61 hours 45 minutes and her 13 hours 15 minutes was the fastest crossing of the South Atlantic Ocean.
Her greatest flight came in 1936 when she achieved her ambition to fly England to New Zealand. Leaving Lympne, an airfield in the south east of England on 5th October she arrived in Auckland on 16th. On the way she became the first person to fly solo direct England – New Zealand, set a new England -Australia record of 5days 21hours and set the world record for a flight Australia – New Zealand. In 1937 Jean Batten continued her record breaking by flying Australia-England in 5 days 18 hours 15minutes. She was the first person to hold the England – Australia, Australia – England records at the same time. Jean Batten received many honours including the Freedom of the City of London but could not get a flying job in the second world war. During the war she was involved in money raising activities for the war effort in England. Once the war was over Jean became a recluse shunning all publicity. She lived in different places with her mother until her mother died in 1965.
Jean made occasional appearances for special occasions and visited New Zealand in 1970. She finally moved to Majorca in 1982 where she died a few weeks later. Jean Batten is honoured in New Zealand where the Percival Vega Gull G-ADPR, which she flew on her record breaking flight from England to New Zealand, is on display at Auckland International Airport. You can start at any age, however I think 17 is the age in any country..
