Do you find yourself being concerned about whether your son or daughter is getting high? Are you apprehensive about talking to them about it? Are you feeling stuck because you have a pretty strong intuition that they are getting high but you don’t want to distance them by pushing on the issue?
If your teen is smoking marijuana and you start administering a home drug test to deter future usage are you creating a bigger problem by driving them to try more dangerous drugs that you aren’t testing for? The answer is maybe. But there’s an easy way to minimize the risk of that happening.
If you want a drug test for marijuana, you can get one. If you want one for cocaine, you can get one. If your teen knows you are only testing for one drug, then it makes it easier for them to say yes to friends who offer them something else.
That’s why it is important to administer home drug tests that identify the presence of a wide variety of drugs, both street drugs and the kinds of prescription drugs that kids take from the medicine cabinets of their friends and family members. Most parents aren’t trained to recognize signs of drug use or symptoms of drug use. So, it really isn’t reasonable to expect parents to know which drugs to test for based on observable symptoms.
That’s why I contend that parents should use kits designed to detect numerous illegal drugs each time they administer a drug test. The effort and expense to test for one illegal drug isn’t much different than testing for ten. Why risk having a false sense of security or giving your child a window of opportunity to select among a smorgasbord of other drug choices they don’t expect to be tested for?
If you want to know more about using home drug tests or picking out the best home drug test for your teen, or the steps to starting a home drug testing program, additional resources are available at places like TestMyTeen.com. Valuable tools are available at no charge including program checklists, counselor approved strategies and video tutorials.

how can i do this project?
MY PROJECT IS RELATED TO ELECTRONICS. I PLANNED TO DESIGN A SMALL HELICOPTER KIT THAT SHOULD SPRAY THE FERTILIZER OVER THE AGRICULTURE FIELD. I WANT TO CONTROL THE HEIGHT, AMOUNT OF LOAD IT CAN, and control the movement of the helicopter by a remote. how can i do this project?
You’ve created a long list of questions. The first and most obvious questions are:
What’s wrong with a real helicopter to do the job?
How much fertilizer are we talking about?
Does it have to be a helicopter or could a fixed wing aircraft (i.e. airplane) or even a lighter-than-air aircraft be used instead? Helicopters are significantly more complex than either of the others.
In any case, I’d start with a scaled prototype. Go buy a remote control helicopter at a hobby store. Buy a radio control unit that has one more channel than you need to fly the helicopter. A good helicopter kit will require a four channel radio for flight. Buy a radio with at least 5 channels.
Design a scaled down reservoir for the fertilizer. A gravity fed distribution system is probably sufficient and significantly easier to design and operate. You will only need to have a switched valve to control whether the fertilizer can flow out of the reservoir. Use the extra channel on the radio control to operate a servo connected to the valve switch. You can buy a servo readily at a hobby store but will need to design your own valve switch.
Before taking off with your carefully designed prototype, make sure you know how to fly the helicopter. Even remote control models can be difficult to handle.

Colour Me Younger
Are you in need of a colour consultant? Have you ever had one of those moments where someone has thought you were older than you really are? At a 40th birthday party recently a woman asked my friend, “So when did you have your 40th?†At 36 my friend wasn’t exactly thrilled at the question! Another friend of mine was on an evening out with someone 6 years her junior when a man she vaguely recognised came over and shrieked, “Don’t tell me, this must be your daughter!â€
Â
Tactless strangers are one thing but sometimes we do need to take a fresh look at ourselves and see if we can do something to turn back the clock a few years. Sometimes the colours we are wearing don’t work with our natural colouring and if this is the case they can put in shadows across our faces and under our chins making us look older than we really are. The wrong shades of make-up can also work against us.
Â
Sometimes the colours we wear aren’t too bad for our own colouring but we have put them together in a dated way which can also be aging. A more current combination would make us look more youthful. For example, turquoise worn with navy often gives an old-fashioned air stewardess kind of feel but turquoise worn with chocolate brown gives a much more contemporary feel. Navy can be worn with light grey this season for a current look.
Â
If you struggle to know which colours suit you best, why not book a session with a colour consultant. A colour consultant will be able to show you which colours flatter your own colouring, making you look younger, and how to wear your colours. Colour consultations make great Christmas presents for women but if you can’t wait until then, here are a few tips to get you started.
Â
Lights
The lights are the natural blondes. These women look great in pastels and light, bright colours. Most deep colours over-power them and put in aging shadows especially if worn together so any dark colours should be teamed with lighter ones.
Good colours: sky blue, dove grey, light red, periwinkle, light pinks, mint green, turquoise.
Colours to avoid: burgundy, bottle green, fuchsia, deep mustard, black.
Â
Deeps
The deeps have very dark hair and dark brown eyes. Pastel shades can make them look older, drained and tired. Deep, bold shades will be much more flattering, balancing their look and keeping them young. Â Any light shades should be worn with deeper ones.
Good colours: black, red, aubergine, dark brown, royal blue, pine green, deep purple.
Colours to avoid: light blue, baby pink, icy violet, light grey.
Â
Warms
The warms are the red-heads. They have a golden or fair freckly skin-tone. The warms need to choose colours with warm (yellowy) undertones. Cool, bluey undertones will wash them out and add on the years!
Good colours: camel, mustard, lime, orange, rust, chocolate, olive and coral.
Colours to avoid: cool pinks will clash dreadfully with the warms colouring and need to be avoided at all costs! Icy blues, violets and greys should also be avoided.
Â
Cools
The cools have silver, white or ash-blonde hair and pink skin-tones. Warm colours can make them look older and unhealthy and they should stick to colours with a cool (bluey) undertone to look younger and more vibrant.
Good colours: grey, navy, shocking pink, purples, cool reds, blues.
Colours to avoid: yellows, browns, orange, lime and camel.
Â
Clears
Clears have bright colouring – deep hair, lighter skin and clear or bright eyes. They will look older and more drab in soft, muted tones. They need to choose bright, jewel-like colours to enhance their colouring and keep their look young.
Good colours: ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald blue, bright teal, combinations of black and white.
Colours to avoid: camel, soft browns, muted jade, mustard, rust.
Â
Softs
The softs have dark blonde to medium brown hair colouring and little contrast between hair, skin and eyes. Their worst combination is black and white as this is a harsh contrast and doesn’t complement their own soft colouring. Deep bold shades will also over-power them and make them look older. Soft-muted shades work best along with some medium depth brights.
Good colours: Soft teals and purples, charcoal, air-force blue, beige, jade and turquoise.
Colours to avoid: royal blue, black, bright orange, canary yellow, emerald green.
Â
A colour consultant can also advise you on your best shades of make-up, on hairstyles and clothing styles to make sure there is nothing spoiling the new, younger you!

Military Helicopters – Most Common Roles Of Military Helicopters
Military Helicopters are primarily used by the Navy and United States Marine Corps to transport troops into a Combat Zone or LZ which is known as a Landing Zone. Sometimes they are known as Hot LZ’s, which means a Landing Zone that is heavily engaged in Combat. Sometimes these are used in Combat Search and Rescue as well as Medical Evacuation. Usually NCO’s or Non Commissioned Officers use their ground radios to communicate with the Helicopter Pilot to give them their ground location.
Military Attack Helicopters
These machines are armed and are usually used to take out enemy Tanks as well as used in Close Air Support. In the role of CAS, A Marine Corps Forward Observer, which can be a Marine with an MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) of 0861, is used to call in Grid Coordinates of an enemy bunker, a tank, a moving convoy or other enemy target so the Helicopter Pilot in the air will know exactly where to aim their missiles.
Grid Coordinates have to be estimated and adjusted sometimes for moving targets, based on the speed and direction of the moving target. Also note that the US Army has Forward Observers as well. The word Helo is another popular term used by Troops.
Military Transport Helicopters
These are used to place troops in certain combat positions and locations. They are used as a support transport system for combat operations as well as being constantly used in training. Sometimes troops can exit the aircraft by Fast Roping, which troops are attached to a very heavy rope with a D-Ring. Sometimes they exit on Parachute, as in the case of 1st Anglico Troops, the 82nd Airborne and some other elite units. And in some cases they are taken right to the ground and just jump off one of the sides.
Military Observation Helicopters
The purpose of these are to spy on enemy troops and to pickup intel and learn about their tactics. At first they use to use balloons. Later they started using lighter airplanes. The ability for these to stay in one location for a good period of time made them ideal for these missions. Two common Recon Helos were the Taylorcraft L-2 and the Fieseler Fi 156. The line of observation used to be limited to what the aircrew could see. Later on however, Optical Sensor Systems and Infrared Cameras substantially increased this range.

What MOS do you guys think should i choose between these two…?
Make it three! Im thinking of being a Tank Crew , Helicopter pilot or Cavalry scout! Do you guys think its advisable for me to choose heli pilot even if i dnt have any background about it? i just hope the army will teach me good to fly. Some friends i met in MEPS told me to choose tank driver since im 5′3 and ill fit well inside the tank haha. And im worried about cavalry scout coz its very physically demanding and im willing to take the pain but will my height be ok in it? or is cav scout only for tall people?
and you guys think i can join rangers or special forces even if im only 5′3???
Any suggestions, ideas, insults are welcome thanks
Well, below is a website that I help that works but the only thing I would say is that for Helicopter you need good eye sight and yes, the Army Will show you how to fly. I am currently in the National Guard and on the seconded website below is a list of the MOS that you can research. Both of the websites are good. I do not know the Army website for MOS but they should be the same. The MOS you choose will depend on where your Basic Training and AIT will be held at. You can also check to see how long is the AIT on the national guard website along with a short video explaining it. Just do your research, when I was choosing one, I did a lot of research and always have some other ones in mind cause sometimes there may not be any avaliable for the one you want so always have a 2nd choice or 3rd choice. Good Luck! and Also, what do you think about Boat Operator and I found the website for the Army MOS in case you want to see that one.

Pilot Training Requirements and Types
Pilot training is a must after graduating from a pilot school. It also has a lot of training system one can choose from. Thus, there are also certain requirements which students should comply with in order to stay in various pilot training programs.
Pilot training requires a maximum of 45 hours training experience in order to be a Licensed Pilot. Private pilots are required to complete three perfect landings and three takeoffs in a span of 90 days in order to carry passengers. The national average that is required for every trainee is about 65 hours. There is leadership and command training for pilots.
Listed are the basic requirements in order to obtain a Private Pilot License.
• Must be at least 17 and above year of age.
• Able to understand the English language, write, speak and read.
• At least has 40 hours flight training.
• Passed the knowledge test.
• Obtained the pilot medical certificate.
• Completed 20 hours of SOLO flight training.
• Passed the Practical Test of flight test and oral examination.
Types of pilot training
• Alternate Recurrent Pilot Training: This pilot training is topic-based and a traditional recurrent preparation. The pilot must qualify for a pilot-in-command proficiency and for the second-in-command check. Alternative recurrent pilot training has three types such as Crew resource management, high altitude flight as well as international flight. The Crew Resource management teaches the pilot the exact usage of the minimum equipments. The rule of a High altitude flight is to examine the result of the highest altitude flight in the aircraft body. International Pilot Flight reviews the international procedure, ATC, /FR and ICAO weather.
• Accelerated flight school and flight training: This training program offers the best and strictly advanced aircraft training, best accelerated pilot training in the industry. It has certified trained instructors that teach the pilots. It is located in Florida Airlines, Kissimmee, and Orlando.
• Regional Airline academy: This pilot school offers airline pilot discussions, pilot flight trainings. It also gives job placements after completing the flight or pilot training. The academy also has a financial help service for trainees so that they may enroll in the program.
• Advanced flight pilot training: This training school had specialist instructors that are based along the Coast airport, Australia airport as well as Queensland. It also offers the highest quality of ATPL airlines transport for pilot licenses. It even offers full-time courses such as airplane pilot training and helicopter pilot training.
• Hamilton pilot training system: It has a comprehensive system for learning in passing certain flight test. The school simply progresses in learning because of their materials that are passed in sequential and logical order.
• Professional Pilot Training: The objective of professional pilot training is to educate and train finished flight pilots because they have superb manipulative skills and an in depth understanding of the theory. This pilot training program offers personalized preparation or training for little classes of airline cadets. Professional pilot training uses a (CBT) Competency Based Training system that uses the very skill assessment guidelines which are based on pilot skill development and recent aviation psychology. This pilot training facility operates on a full arena of HPT or Hawker Pilot synthetic trainers, which are considered as instruments for flying pilot training as well as procedural training. Professional pilot training has internal review trainings for its student or new pilots.
• Balloon Pilot Training: It has 8 hours flight training or preparation and 20 hours ground training. Balloon pilot training has a requirement such as pre-flight preparation, aircraft familiarization, and launching, along with inflation procedures. It also teaches how to regulate during emergencies, long distances, and high altitude landings.
• Eurocopter Pilot Training: This training program gives a closed-book examination on helicopter limitation. This training program requires a 75% or higher score before one is allowed to enroll. This pilot training program also teaches Emergency procedures, aircraft systems, balance and weight of the helicopters, autopilots, controls and cockpit displays plus a review of the aircraft manuals.

Well, to be honest, his flight time is pretty low to be flying PIC (Pilot in Command). Alaska has a rather sticky flight time requirement for most air carriers; most are looking for a minimum of a thousand hours, but if you fly, you have to fly Alaska!
I am including a couple of web sites that may help including a base web site for Alaska itself (we are kinda big and spread out; 2 1/2 times larger than Texas, and span from Savannah Ga. to San Francisco, Ca.)
I wish you you friend God Speed and clear skies.
